From November 4 to November 5, 2019, an international high-end financial smart summit -China (Chongqing)-Singapore Demonstration on Strategic Connectivity Financial Summit (CCI-FS) 2019 (hereinafter referred to as CCI-FS) will be held in Chongqing Yuelai International Conference Center and Jiangbeizui CBD. CCIFT of Hanhua is responsible for the overall planning and coordination of the summit for the summit achieving more fruitful results.

The CCI-FS, co-sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, The People's Bank of China, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Ministry of Trade & Industry, Monetary Authority of Singapore and Chongqing Municipal Government, is one of the five landmark projects of China-Singapore Connectivity Project jointly determined by the government departments of China and Singapore.

In November 2018, the first CCI-FS was successfully held in Chongqing, featuring high openness, outstanding guests, many highlights during activities and extensive media communication. As the practical cooperation has achieved new results, participants at the summit gathered consensus to create a new pattern and offered advice and suggestions to explore new paths to build an internationalized, specialized and branded platform for financial cooperation between western areas in China and ASEAN countries. Meng Wenneng, the President of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, praised that the summit can be regarded as a new milestone for China-Singapore Connectivity Project.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the country's implementation of Great Western Development Strategy. The 2019 CCI-FS will thoroughly implement the important directive of General Secretary Xi Jinping to "build high-starting, high-level and innovative demonstration key projects", carefully organize and implement the aims according to the objectives of higher quality, higher level and more distinctive features, and further enhance the breadth and depth of China-Singapore financial cooperation.

The 2019 CCI-FS will focus on "the belt and road initiative" and the construction of New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor with the theme of "Financial Connectivity • Service' The Belt and Road Initiative'-Financial Opening and Innovation to Boost New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor", important persons from the political, business, financial and academic circles of China, Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region will be invited to discuss new ideas, new technologies and new models for promoting financial connectivity. The opening ceremony of this summit will present high-level keynote speeches focusing on such hot topics as cross-border investment and financing, financial technology, inclusive finance, green finance, supply chain finance, logistics finance, asset securitization, etc. There will be 6 special forums, 3 special activities, a series of new key project signing activities, symposiums on financial cooperation between western provinces and regions, and exhibitions on the achievements of China-Singapore financial cooperation.

The attendees of this summit is about 1200 people, including Chinese guests from the national financial supervision department, national policy financial institutions, large state-owned banks and insurance institutions, various exchanges and trading centers, national investment funds, well-known new financial institutions, associations in financial industry and well-known institutions of higher learning at home and abroad, and foreign guests from the central banks and industry associations of ten ASEAN members (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Brunei, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam), well-known financial institutions, investment institutions and global enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region. Meanwhile, representatives of banks, insurance, securities, futures, financial elements trading markets, fund companies in Chongqing, as well as local new financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, industry associations and organizations, intermediaries and related enterprises are also present.

The CCI-FS is one of the six exhibition projects clearly defined by the Chongqing municipal government. It is Chongqing's firm practice to plan one area from the overall situation and as a result serve the overall situation with one area. More than 200 leaders in the industry around the world will discuss and share the great opportunities created by financial connectivity at this summit. The summit will provide new impetus for the construction of Chongqing's inland open highland, the establishment of an inland international financial center, and the economic development of Chongqing, the west areas, ASEAN countries such as Singapore and the countries along the "the belt and road initiative".
