On April 17, Hanhua Financial Holding, a leading inclusive financial group in China, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the China Center for Urban Development of National Development and Reform Commission, under which the parties will give full play to their respective advantages, work together to conduct the research on top-level strategic design and construction and development planning of characteristic towns in China, and jointly promote the healthy development of the characteristic towns.

China Center for Urban Development is an authoritative institution for researching the urbanization and urban development strategies and policies in China. It has always been committed to the transformation of research results into practice, and has a series of important research results and practical experience in the field of characteristic towns. 

It is said that both parties will work together with more scientific research institutes, industrial institutions, design institutions, investment institutions and industry associations to jointly carry out comprehensive in-depth research on the location selection, industrial development, investment and financing models, cultural shaping and brand communication of characteristic towns, and will provide intellectual support, standard reference and model reference for the construction and development of characteristic towns in China by publishing the research results, holding seminars and forums, organizing case analysis, and promoting demonstration projects, etc.

Mr. Qiao Runling, deputy director of China Center for Urban Development, fully affirmed the strategic concept and practical exploration of Hanhua. He said that Hanhan participated in and supported the construction of characteristic towns with its 13-year "finance + industry" intelligence, technologies and experience in inclusive finance, which reflected the long-term strategic perspective of Hanhua. The comprehensive financial platform of Hanhua highly applied to the actual demand of new urbanization and development, and could effectively serve and promote the construction of characteristic towns. He hoped to accumulate more valuable information for the new urbanization and construction of characteristic towns with the continuous tracking and in-depth analysis of "town cluster of industrial ecology", so as to effectively promote the supply-side reform, the construction of ecological civilization and the coordinated development of urban and rural areas.

Feng Kui, general secretary of the Academic Committee of the China Center for Urban Development, also expressed the hope that with the combination of industry, finance and science, and the social resources would be gathered to promote the transformation of research results and jointly create a new sample of characteristic towns in China.

It is learned that, up to now, Hanhua has established in-depth cooperation with dozens of top industry organizations at home and abroad, and formed cooperative relations with more than 50 towns in 15 provinces and cities across the country.
